The College was inaugurated by the Board of Directors in 1967 for the purpose of officially recognizing members who have made outstanding contribution to the enhancement of the Association.

To be elected to the College of Fellows is a proud honour. Fellows individually avail themselves of every opportunity to communicate their experience and knowledge not only in the Association but in their respective vocation, and in doing so, exemplify the aims and objectives of Construction Specifications Canada. Fellows have an obligation to support the activities of the Association at every opportunity.

The requirements for election to the College are as follows:

  1. To be nominated an individual must have been a member of CSC for a continuous period of 10 years.
  2. He or she must have made a distinguished and scholarly contribution to the enhancement of CSC.
  3. He or she must be nominated by at least seven members from 3 chapters of which 3 must be members of the College of Fellows.
  4. He or she must have received a majority of votes casts in election by the College.

These qualifications ensure that those nominated are democratically elected, and admitted after due acceptance by the College.

In making his or her contribution to the enhancement of CSC, each Fellow has demonstrated that he or she has done their best to further the objectives of the Association which are:

To foster the interest of those who are engaged in, or are affected by the compilation of, or use off, any form of specification or related documentation for the construction industry.

  1. To publish literature or related documentation for the construction industry.
  2. To engages in activities to improve procedures and techniques related to the construction industry.
  3. To engages in activities to improve procedures and techniques related to the construction industry.
