Roofing systems are often completed early in the construction schedule to provide waterproofing for many other phases of construction, yet they remain vulnerable throughout the project life cycle. This live, in-person panel brings together a manufacturer's field representative, a third-party quality control expert, a construction project manager, and a seasoned roofing professional. Moderated by a contract administrator, we will explore how damage to finished roofing surfaces can be prevented, mitigated, and addressed collaboratively.
Intended for architects, specification writers, contract administrators, construction managers, quality control inspectors, general contractors, subtrade contractors, pre-construction managers, estimators, and other stake holders, this session dives into best practices, common errors, and the real-world consequences of roof damage. Attendees will gain actionable strategies, understand roles and responsibilities, and receive practical tools to foster a culture of protection and accountability on the site. With pre-set questions and audience engagement, this discussion offers immediate takeaways to improve coordination, protect warranties, reduce costs, save time, and extend roof service life.
